dmexco is always a huge digital rendez-vous and dmexco 2015 was no different. There was lots of gossip in the corridors with delegates discussing the next major video announcement. It turned out to be the Unruly buyout by News Corp. The conference also fostered a great deal of discussions on ad blocking and the transition to HTML5 – compulsory given the huge shift to mobile we are experiencing. These hot topics highlighted what the industry needs to address, and fast, to avoid the big bucks draining away.
